Characterization: This is the Barolo which best typifies the virtuosity and breeding of this wine. Its ethereal perfumes and suggestion of withered roses do not fully cover up a slight fragrance of underbrush which makes it extremely harmonious and complete. Intense garnet color with ruby reflexes.Full – bodied on the palate, perfectly balanced components, fruit, tannins and acidity in ideal synergy, pleasant finish. In great vintages can be kept in the bottle for up to 15–25 years.
Vinification and ageing: Maceration lasts 20 days. Ageing takes 12 months, partly in Slovenian oak barrels and partly in French barriques. Final ageing in bottles takes 12 months.
